frequently asked questions & answers about my boudoir studio
In the event that you can’t see the frequently asked questions in the carousel above, I’ve listed the highlights below:
I’ve been operating out of a physical boudoir photography studio since 2010
All boudoir shoots at Long Island Boudoir Photography® are private (no lookey-loos!)
Hair and makeup is optional (believe it or not, not all my clients want makeup for their boudoir shoot) but I do work with three very talented makeup/hair artists.
The main boudoir albums I work with handcrafted works of art and are sourced internationally.
In addition to boudoir, I do maternity boudoir, women’s fitness shoots, and branding for women who want to infuse who they are into their business/professional photos - I’m basically a women’s portrait photographer and fine art photographer (yes, I’ve had work exhibited in galleries).
I support you with styling and concepts for your photoshoot so you don’t have to know exactly what you want to do in advance.
You have access to fun accessories for your boudoir shoot - like my wall of shoes, jewelry (lots and lots of pearls), unexpected accessories, tons of fabric, lace robes, & unique out-of-the-box pieces.
Don’t worry about poses - that’s my job. But I do give each clients a boudoir posing tutorial so they’ll look their best.
Of course I shoot natural light boudoir. But I’m also an expert at studio lighting depending on the mood/vibe my clients are looking to create for their shoot.
In short, this is a well-planned, well-organized experience and I guide you throughout the entire process.
